Mahadasha and Antardasha

Calculation of Personal Year/Mahadasha

  • Use Real Date of Birth (DOB): The actual birthdate is necessary to calculate the personal year.

  • Replace Birth Year: For the calculation, replace the birth year (YYYY) in your DOB with the year you want to predict.

    • Example: If DOB is 25/04/1970 and you want to know the personal year for 2024, change 1970 to 2024 → 25/04/2024.
  • Add the Digits: Sum all the digits of the modified date.

    • For 25/04/2024:
      • 2 + 5 + 0 + 4 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 19.
      • Then reduce 19 to a single digit: 1 + 9 = 101 + 0 = 1.
  • Personal Year: For the year 2024, the personal year is 1.

  • Cycle of Personal Years:

    • After finding the personal year for one year, it increases by one each year:
      • 2024: 1
      • 2025: 2
      • 2026: 3
      • 2032: 9
      • After that, it starts again from 1.

Calculation of Personal Month/Antardasha

  • Understand the Calendar:
Each month is assigned a number based on the calendar:

    • January = 1, February = 2, March = 3, and so on till December = 12.
These are the numbers you will use for each month.
  • Formula for Personal Month:
PM = Personal Year (PY) + Month Number

    • You already calculated your Personal Year (PY).
    • For Personal Month (PM), add the Month Number to your PY.
  • Example:
Let’s say your Personal Year (PY) is 1 and you want to calculate the PM for July (Month Number = 7):

    • PM = 1 (PY) + 7 (July) = 8.
  • Months Before and After July:

    • June (Month Number = 6): PM = 1 (PY) + 6 = 7
    • August (Month Number = 8): PM = 1 (PY) + 8 = 9
  • Larger Numbers for October, November, and December:
For months after September, directly add the full Month Number:

    • October (10), November (11), December (12).
    • Example: For October, PM = 1 (PY) + 10 = 11.
  • Driver’s Influence:
If your DOB is 25/04/1970, the driver number is 7 (from 25), which influences your personal month results.

Calculation of Personal Day

Personal Day (PD) Calculation:

  • Now, add the PY, PM{Both single digits(Output)}, and the date (DD + MM + YYYY) together.
  • Example:
    PD = 3 (PY) + 2 (PM) + 14 (Total of Date) = 3 + 2 + 14 = 19 → 1 + 9 = 10
  • 1+0=1
  • Another Example
    • PY = 1
    • PM for September = 1
    • Date (20/9/2024) = 5
    • PD = 1 (PY)+ 1(PM) + (20/9/2024)
    • 1+1+ (19)
    • 21
    • 2+1=3

The Personal Day for this person on 20th August 2025 is 1.

    • After calculating the PD, check whether the result is favorable, neutral, or unfavorable for the person’s Driver Number.
    • You have to calculate personal day and take the personal year and personal month for the same year

Most benefit greatly, but those with Driver Number 8 should be cautious. Success depends on early efforts, setting the stage for the next 9 years.

Personal Year 2

Personal Year 2 is a time for patience and reflection, not for taking risks. Focus on consolidating efforts, partnerships, and analyzing progress. Avoid aggressive actions and nurture what you’ve already started. Stay mindful, especially if you’re a Driver 4, 8, or 9, as challenges may arise in emotions and health.

Personal Year 3

Personal Year 3, ruled by Jupiter, brings growth in knowledge, education, spirituality, and healing. It’s a time for creativity, expansion, and reaping rewards. Avoid risks, stay grounded, and give your best without expecting quick results.

Personal Year 5

It’s a time to enjoy the rewards of your hard work, but with those rewards come greater duties, especially towards family, relationships, and career. Avoid shortcuts and unethical actions to ensure positive outcomes.

Personal Year 9

Personal Year 9 marks the end of a cycle, often bringing unpredictable results—both positive and negative. It’s a time for closure, where true intentions and hidden aspects come to light. Avoid major risks and be cautious with new ventures. Focus on reevaluating and preparing for the next cycle to ensure stability and progress.

Number 2

The complimentary numbers for 2 are 5 and 7. If 2 is missing, either 5 or 7 will compensate for its absence, though not fully. It will provide some support, maybe 20%, 30%, or up to 50%, but there will still be an effect.

Number 3

The numbers that compliment 3 are 5 and 7. The number 3 relates to spirituality, religion, creativity, and thoughts, and these qualities are also present in number 7. It promotes deep thinking and perfectionism, offering support in these areas.

Number 4

The complimentary number for 4 is 8. The number 4 represents discipline and organizational skills, and 8 can provide these qualities. However, this support is limited to areas requiring discipline and organization, not in other aspects.

Number 5

Number 5 is so powerful that no other number can fully compliment it. It can support all other numbers, but no number can fully support 5. If number 6 is present, it helps maintain balance in areas related to family and relationships.

Number 6

If 6 is missing but 5 is present, number 5 can balance materialistic matters such as love, family, and relationships. It creates stability in those areas when 6 is absent.

Number 7

If 7 is absent, number 3 can act as a compliment. It doesn’t mean that 3 will bring the same disappointments that 7 could; instead, 3 will provide positive aspects like spirituality, religion, and education, covering for the absence of 7.

Number 8

If 8 is missing, 4 can compensate by providing discipline and organizational skills. The number 8 is primarily associated with money and finance management, but it requires discipline to manage these areas effectively. While 4 can offer discipline, it won’t cover the financial aspect, which is where 5 comes into play. Therefore, to achieve both discipline and financial management, the presence of both 4 and 5 is essential.

Number 9

When 9 is present, number 1 will complement it. Just as 9 can support 1 in terms of communication, the reverse is true when 9 is absent. However, the effect might only be partially visible, ranging from 20%, 30%, 40%, or even 50%, depending on how much of the support is needed.
